Arondizuogu Patriotic Union - New Jersey (APUNJ) is a non profit Igbo cultural organization in the State of New Jersey, USA. APUNJ is a Nigerian cultural organization and we are the people of Arondizuogu from Amankwu in Arochukwu.  Of over 100 Aro communities in Nigerian, Arondizuogu is the largest Aro settlement outside of Arochukwu. Arondizuogu is  spread within three local government areas namely: Ideato North, Okigwe North and Onu-Imo West Local Governments in Imo State in the Eastern part of Nigeria.

APUNJ Ezumezu 2006

On Saturday June 17, 2006, APUNJ had their 3rd annual Ikeji/fundraising gala night at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Irvington, NJ. The night was filled with the Arondizuogu  traditional women Ojojo dance and the men Ikeji masquerade. The highlights of the night, however, were the young Arondizuogu girls traditional dance and the young Arondizuogu boys uraga masquerade.

 
 

 

Young Adult Forum

APUNJ Medical Mission to Arondizuogu

APUNJ will execute our inaugural Annual Medical Mission to Arondizuogu and we want to thank all of our supporters for their generous donations towards this very important and highly needed project in our hometown.
