WE THE PEOPLE of Arondizuogu residing in this region of the United States of America have agreed to come together to form an association herein known as Arondizuogu Patriotic Union, New Jersey, A New Jersey Nonprofit Corporation. (“APU-NJ”). The purposes for which the association is organized are:

1. To foster a sense of community and kinship amongst members and their families;

To establish programs, events and facilities that would promote the upbringing of our children and dependents with the proper balance of Arondizuogu and American cultures;

3. To create a forum for discussion of matters of mutual interest;

4. To promote educational and cultural exchanges between Arondizuogu people and the people and institutions of the United States of America;

5. To promote the name image and culture of the Arondizuogu community as a model of positive Nigerian way of life in America.

Umu nnem na Umunnam Ekene! E-kene! E-kene m Unuoo. It is with great pleasure as an Izuogu indigene and a member of this great union, APUNJ that I convey to you the state of our union. As 2008 draws upon us, which also brings to an end the two year term of the current executives, I will like to reflect on the state of our union. But first of all, my fellow members of APUNJ, the state of our Union is strong. It is your fervent endeavors, selflessness and dedication couple with your unselfishness to our organization that is instrumental in strengthening our union and making this job a lot easy. I salute you immensely. I will like to thank all of you our members for your unparalleled steadfastness, devotion and love for one another which have been the bedrock of our organization.
