Arondizuogu Patriotic Union - New Jersey (APUNJ®) is a non profit Igbo cultural organization in the State of New Jersey, USA. APUNJ is a Nigerian cultural organization. We are the people of Arondizuogu of West Africa in Imo State of Nigeria. We are predominantly Igbo speaking people of Aro descent from Amankwu in Arochukwu. Of over 100 Aro communities in Nigeria. Arondizuogu is the largest Aro settlement outside of Arochukwu. Arondizuogu is spread within three local government areas namely: Ideato North, Okigwe North and Onu-Imo West Local Governments in Imo State in the Eastern part of Nigeria.

APUNJ will execute our inaugural Annual Medical Mission to Arondizuogu and we want to thank all of our supporters for their generous donations towards this very important and highly needed project in our hometown. APUNJ Celebrates her 5th Anniversary

APUNJ celebrated her 5th anniversary on June 18, 2008 . The event took place at Holiday Inn, in Somerset New Jersey. APUNJ children opened the occasion by singing the Nigeria and United States national anthems.

The occasion was marked with festivities. There were performance by APUNJ young girls dance group, APUNJ young boys masquerade group and performances from Arondizuogu women cultural dance. Finally, the celebration was climaxed by performance by Arondizuogu men masquerade squad.
